On June 18, More than 10,000 people poured into Uptown to launch Oaklands new arts & entertainment district. Six city blocks were transformed into a festival zone for the evening, with four stages featuring local music plus art exhibits, vendors, and tours of the newly renovated Fox Oakland and Paramount theaters.
